How our free oak wilt referral works

Plain disclosure of what we are, what we do, and how we're paid.

Hill Country Oak Wilt is a free referral and matching service. We are not a tree care company. We do not diagnose, treat, trench, or remove trees.

The referral process

1. You call or submit the form.
2. We share your request with an independent arborist (or a small number of them) who serves your area and does oak wilt work.
3. The arborist contacts you, inspects, and quotes. You choose whether to hire them.

Who we refer to

We aim to refer to independent professionals who hold the Texas licensing required for the work and who are, or work under, an Oak Wilt Qualified ISA Certified Arborist. You should still verify credentials, insurance, and references yourself before hiring anyone.

Referral disclosure: how we're paid

Our service is free to homeowners. We may receive a fee from the professionals we refer. That does not change what you pay, and you are never obligated to hire anyone.

What we don't do

• We don't guarantee any outcome, price, timeline, or that a tree can be saved.
• We don't guarantee rebate or cost-share approval. The city or agency running the program decides that.
• We aren't responsible for work performed by independent professionals.
